Neil Nitin Mukesh Biography
A fair complexioned guy with an intense face, good personality and height, Neil Nitin Mukesh is amongst Bollywood’s most good-looking male actors. Born on 15 January 1982, Neil is the grandson of legendary singer Mukesh and son of playback singer Nitin Mukesh.
Also known as Neil Mathur, he graduated from HR College, with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. Since his school days, he pursued his dream of becoming an actor rather than follow the footsteps for his forefathers.
With family support firmly behind him, Neil Nitin Mukesh did a 4-month acting workshop with Kishore Namit Kapoor and also joined acting classes during his vacations at Anupam Kher's institute.
However, Neil’s stint with camera and films started with film ‘Vijay’ (1998) where he played a child character, and then in ‘Jaise Karni Waise Bharni’ (1989) where he played the young Govinda.
Neil Nitin Mukesh assisted Aditya Chopra in Yashraj Films’ ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’, when he was in college. His personality and looks made him a natural choice for playing a lead actor in romantic films. But he chose an unconventional film like ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ (2008) as his debut. In the film he played a negative character with aplomb and fetched rave reviews for his stealing performance.
