Imran Khan Biography
He has a unique blend of boyish charm and manly charisma. Often referred to as Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran Khan is the owner of an unpretentious honest face, eyes that speak volumes, physique that is lean yet strong, voice that sounds confident, yet is shy.
Born on 13 January 1983 to Nuzzat Hussain, daughter of yesteryears’ noted producer and director Nasir Hussain and Anil Pal, an IITian now settled in US, Imran Khan decided to take his mother’s surname. His parents divorced when he was only one and half years old. The boy studied in Mumbai and for some time stayed in Bangalore too. Later he went to California to be with his father and to finish his high school. Imran has done training in film-making from Los Angeles. On the personal front, he shares a steady relationship with his long-time girl friend Avantika Malik.
Imran Khan acted as the young Aamir Khan in films ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ (1988) and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ (1992). He aspired to be director but destiny had a different plan for him and he became an actor. His first movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ was one of the biggest hits of the year 2008. He was appreciated for his portrayal of a confused love-struck college boy. For his performance Imran also received Filmfare Best Male Debut Award in the year 2009. For his second film ‘Kidnap’, he turned a villain.
