Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan
The Bachchan family -- Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan -- was clicked at a press conference held to announce the proceeds of B 70 paintings to be donated to Plan India for their Girl Child Campaign at Jalsa Bungalow, in Juhu, Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog: “On my 70th birthday, Jaya along with some gifted friends, decided to bring out a coffee table book, containing paintings from some of the most celebrated painters of the country, 70 in number, on what their interpretation would be of me. The book was titled ‘B70’ and was inaugurated at the birthday celebration on my birthday by my grandson Agastya. Jaya had decided that the proceeds from the sale of the book, would go towards the girl child, their uplift, their education,their presence in society, their dignity …”

He added: “A suitable organisation was chosen, Plan India, and it was for them that we held a press conference to present a cheque for 25 lakhs.”
