Celebs pay homage to Shammi Kapoor

Bollywood bade farewell to its most flamboyant hero Shammi Kapoor on Monday, as the veteran actor passed away a day ago.

His last rites were performed by son Aditya Raj Kapoor at Ban Ganga crematorium in South Mumbai at 11 am on Monday. Shammi Kapoor’s nephews Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, along with grand-nephew Ranbir Kapoor, accompanied him on his final journey from his Malabar Hill residence. His two star nieces Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were also seen at the funeral.

And the entire Bollywood fraternity made sure they were present to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor for the last time. Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were seen bidding farewell to Shammi Kapoor.

Other B-town celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Anil Kapoor and Yash Chopra were also seen paying homage to Shammi Kapoor.

Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Kapoor and Shatrugan Sinha, along with Govinda, were also snapped as Bollywood witnessed the final journey of the legendary actor.
