Another Salman Khan-Rani Mukherjee-Preity Zinta film after the boring Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega. One wonders what makes the producers sign Salman time and time again even though he has proved that he has got nothing to show except his bulging muscles.
Chori Chori Chupke Chupke involves three characters, Raj (Salman Khan), Priya (Rani Mukherjee) and Madhoo (Preity Zinta). And before you yell "love triangle!", Abbas-Mustan point out the film is not about two pretty girls falling in love with the same guy.
Abbas-Mustan have left behind the gory, often grim, shade of crime in the closet this time. Rather, as the TV promos suggest, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is draped in candy-floss and designer mush, the trademark of blockbusters these days.
To prove that they are different from the rest the director duo have painted a different picture in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. The flick sans villains and vamps, the basic ingredients in a masala flick.
Anu Malik is going strong with his usual self – churning out the same old tunes over and over again. Looks like he has lost his “lifting” muse.
