Lisa Ray may be a gorgeous enchantress as far as her beauty is concerned but she still has a lot to learn before making her mark as an actress.
Firstly, her hoity-toity attitude has made it difficult for filmmakers to get along with her. Secondly there is a lot she has to spruce up on if she wants to find a place among the arc lamps.
Her debut film ("Kasoor") opposite Aftab Shivdasani is almost complete and those who have been able to sneak a peek at the film's promos are saying that Lisa is looking quite good in the film and has in fact canned a couple of hot scenes with dimpled Aftab.
What came as a surprise, however, was that Lisa has not dubbed for her dialogues in the film. It is believed that her Hinglish accent didn't gel properly with her character in the film and director Vikram Bhatt was left with no choice but to rope in another actress Divya Dutta to dub for Lisa.
That's not all, even the film's hero Aftab Shivdasani hasn't dubbed his dialogues. As Vikram reveals Aftab plays a lawyer in the film and therefore needed a mature voice. So Vikram decided to lend his voice to Aftab's character in the film.
Both Aftab and Lisa are at the beginning of their career and have a long way to go in this competition stricken industry. Good looks can get them a good break but they would have to polish their acting techniques as well as vocal skills to make a place under the sun.
