Superstars clash again! Victim Farah Khan

While thousands of women across continents reel under heartbreak caused by hroaring superstar Hrithik Roshan's marriage to five-year-long sweetheart Suzanne Khan, there's one woman who suffers a different kind of suffering, maintains a stoic silence and pretends as if nothing has happened.

In actuality, hell has broken loose for ace choreographer Farah Khan. For the good innings that Farah enjoyed under the protective umbrella of ex-superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Farah is now in a position where industry bigwigs have an instinctive faith in her. More so, close associates Roshans and not to forget, the king Khan himself.

Therefore, when SRK encouraged Farah, who's almost a part of his family, to direct a film she could not think of anybody else but SRK in the lead. To give a sensational twist to her directorial debut SRK must have nudged her to take Hrithik in a parallel role and give rise to a casting coup of sorts. For Farah, a first-time director, even if the end result did not do too well, the experiment itself would have been an achievement. But all that was not to be. Hrithik made a last minute exit from Farah's set-up.

It came as a shock to people when Farah announced her film formally and did not read Hrithik's name when it came to the credit list. What happened? Why wasn't Hrithik in the film anymore? Was this an extension of the superstars' rivalry?

Hrithik's father, Rakesh Roshan completely denies of anything going sour between Farah and his son. "It is just that we do not have dates to spare and Farah wanted to begin shooting immediately". Farah's closeness to SRK is well known. And it is also well known that Hrithik wasn't too impressed with his role and asked for a revision in his part of the script. Farah revised but Hrithik wasn't satisfied. Then came the excuse of not having enough time to spare for the film.

Farah did not carry out further revisions. Any more editing of the script would have altered her mentor SRK's role, something she wouldn't want. The question now is whether Farah has done the right thing by planting her loyalties firmly to the SRK camp and not shifting to the camp where almost all bigwigs of the industry are going with their scripts. For a debutante, Hrithik could have done wonders for Farah, but then there's no denying that SRK's talent and appeal have immensely good possibilities for Farah.
