This gorgeous girl from down south has got it all served on the platter.
Keerty Reddy didn’t have to scuff her heels to get her break under the arc lights and her foray into the tinsel town has been smooth sailing so far. So what if she did not become the cinebuff's favorite with her debut film Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya opposite junior Bachchan, filmmakers are still queuing up to sign her.
One such director Rajiv Rai, who has given the industry hits like Tridev and Mohra is making the Indian version of the Hollywood potboiler There's Something About Mary. Rajiv has signed Keerty to play the role that Cameron Diaz played in the hit comic caper.
Vying for Keerty's love in the film will be three heroes-- Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal. But it is Keerty who gets to hog the footage in the film as the bubbly girl who keeps the three lads on tenterhooks. The film is in the making and is expected to hit the turnstiles by June.
Keerty, who is already one among the sought-after actresses in the South, is banking on this film to get herself a firmer foothold in Bollywood. Besides, she has a plum role opposite the newcomer Karannath in Vimal Kumar's forthcoming Ashiqui Deewangi.
If Keerty has one disadvantage to herself, it is her poor dialogue delivery. For this precisely Vashu Bhagnani roped in Tejaswini Kolhapure to dub for her in Tera Jaado... We only hope that she spruces up her histrionics if she wants to cut a dash in her coming films.
