Now that Chori Chori Chupke Chupke has Damocles's sword hanging over its head, actor Salman Khan needs to devise new ways of a career revamp.

After being stalled for weeks for alleged links of its producer Nazeem Rizvi and financier Bharat Shah with the underworld, the news of CCCC's release came as a relief to many, especially Salman.

In the past, Salman's image took a battering with the killings of blackbucks that had the court running after him, his public misconduct, an alleged forced relation with Aishwarya Rai and his threats to her parents.

Girlfriend Aishwarya made a few attempts to salvage her beau's roaring reputation. She has been talking to a section of the media saying how innocent and good Salman is. According to her, the media, in a bid to sensationalize, has gone over the board about Salman. In fact, he is also on very cordial terms with Sanjay Leela Bhansali now. Ash though, did not deny that Salman was initially upset that Sanjay did not cast him in Devdas.

Stories about his large-heartedness and compassion are also in circulation. The spokesperson of an orphanage has come forward to speak to the world about Salman's kind deeds. According to the lady, Salman is a regular visitor to the orphanage and enquires about the welfare of the inmates. He also donates generously. And that is the only orphanage Salman goes to. He goes to many other Anathalays and does a lot of charity.

The sudden spurt of pro-Salman stories could have bolstered the star's image but CCCC's risky release puts the poor actor back to square one.
