Kim Sharma did not exactly have a dream debut in Aditya Chopra’s Mohabatein” because she was a bit player in a star-studded cast.
Although she did attract notice, Kim had to wait for a long time for the next break.
Kim recently landed an important role with the likes of Chandrachud Singh and Namrata Shirodkar in a film to be produced by the busiest guy on the block Mahesh Manjrekar. Mahesh’s friend Sanjay Jha will direct the film.
Besides, Kim also has in her kitty a plum role opposite the famous ramp-walker Nakul Kapoor in a film to be directed by Deepak Anand.
Kim, who has graduated from modeling and music videos to the tinsel world, accepts that she is a “walking actress”. Asserts the bubbly and effervescent lass: “Although I haven’t had any formal training in acting, I act everyday and every hour of my life”.
While some offers have been pouring in after she attracted the attention of filmmakers after “Mohabbatein”, she did not sign any as she did not find them good enough. So Kim bade her time patiently. And at long last her wishes seem to be coming true.
