Vagabond singer Lucky Ali has taken a headlong plunge into the tinsel waters.
What initially appeared as Lucky’s short stint under the arc lights is now changing into a full-fledged career. He is snapping up all the good roles coming his way.
Recently he bagged an important role in Sanjay Dutt’s home production Kaante. Lucky agreed to do the role after Akshay Khanna walked out of the project due to date problems.
The film directed by Sanjay’s close friend Mahesh Manjrekar will have Lucky playing a trigger-happy bank robber. It is a chance for Lucky to work with seasoned performers like Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt. Plans are being made to shoot the film in a single 7-week schedule in the USA.
Lucky has already carved a niche in the music industry with three of his hit albums. Incidentally, he is playing a musician in Aditya Bhattacharya’s “Avatar”. Looks like we have an actor in the making.
