Actress Sonali Bendre, who is alleged to have posed objectionable pictures in a magazine which allegedly hurt religious sentiments of a community, was Tuesday granted bail by additional chief metropolitan magistrate Usha Iyer.
Besides Sonali, two others -- dress designer Ashali Charles Rebello and photographer Amit Kumar Ashar -- were also granted bail by the magistrate.
The Social Service Branch of the Mumbai Police had registered an offence against the trio under section 295 (a) of the Indian Penal Code.
She posed in the cover page of 'Showtime' magazine in its issue of March 98.
Ms Iyer, while granting the bail to the trio asked them to furnish a personal bond of Rs 12,000 with one surety.
