All that hype and hoopla over Anupam Kher’s directorial debut Om Jai Jagdish seems to have worn off. Trouble started with Tabu walking out of the film after shooting for a mere five days, leaving Anupam Kher high and dry.
Poor Anupam had hardly canned a few reels of footage. Anupam is said to be upset because Tabu reportedly did not even show him the courtesy of informing him about her decision.
Anupam had a tough time looking for a suitable replacement for Tabu. He is said to have first approached Madhuri. But she didn’t have enough dates to spare though she liked the script.
A harried Anupam has at long last signed Mahima Chowdhary for the film.
