Ajay Devgan seems to have learned much from the debacle of his multi-million celluloid dream “Raju Chacha”.
Besides investing in his two forthcoming home productions, Devgan is lapping almost anything that’s coming his way.
Most importantly, he is again forming a good rapport with the filmmakers with whom he had fallen out in his heydays. Of late Ajay thawed his frosty relations with acclaimed filmmaker J.P.Dutta by agreeing to be the part of his next film, tentatively titled “Mission: Vijay”.
After Border and RefugeeMission: Vijay is the third in Dutta’s trilogy on patriotic subjects.
As the industry grapevine goes, J.P. Dutta wanted Ajay to be in his earlier film “Border” but Ajay had behaved high and mighty and asked Dutta for a complete script first before giving his word. A miffed Dutta did not even care to contact Ajay after that. But now, thankfully for Ajay, the ice has been broken and they are again on good terms.
Ajay is also leaving no stone unturned to salvage his sagging career. Determined not to let failure get the better of him, Devgan has been on a signing spree. He has bagged a plum role in David Dhawan’s “Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahin”(with Amitabh, Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya) and Ram Gopal Varma’s next film “Company” in which he is pitched opposite Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
