Much before Hrithik became a heartthrob of the movie buffs his finely chiseled face and well-toned physique had caught the eye of the chief honcho of Pantaloon, a garment manufacturing company.
The man knew he had found the face that would successfully tiptoe his company into the unexplored realms of Bollywood.
A garments company dabbling into the film production! The idea was a bit ambitious but not unattainable. Another debutant Esha Deol was roped in to bill and coo the brawny Roshan on screen. To direct the film Pantaloon found the director, Arjun Sablok, in their own backyard, and hence "Na Tum Jaano Na Hum" was on roll.
Today the film is almost wrapped up. It also casts Saif Ali Khan, Rati Agnihotri, Achla Sachdev and Smita Jaykar. The film is shot extensively in Canada and Pune and is expected to hit the marquee in the month of June.
Arjun Sablok, who is making his debut directorial attempt with "Na Tum Jaano.." has imbibed much under Yash Chopra and has sprinkled some of the ingredients of Chopra recipe for the success in his own film.
The plot is set against the fashion background but Pantaloon's brand name doesn't appear anywhere in the film.
