Even as Tejaswini Kolhapure’s debut film is still to hit the turnstiles she has embarked on a handful of plum projects. The latest among them is brother-in-law Tutu Sharma’s home production opposite none other than the brawny Sanjay Dutt.
The story for the yet-to-be titled film is written by Anurag Kashyap (of “Satya” fame) who has also written and directed Tejaswini’s would-be debut film “Paanch”. This film, however, would be directed by Sudhir Mishra.
As for roping in the dashing Dutt, Tejaswini’s elder sister Padmini Kolhapure opines that he “is a very good actor” and “completely suits the character in the film”. While she kept mum about the film’s story she did concede that it will test Tejaswini’s acting skills to the hilt.
Tejaswini has done a fair amount of modeling and fashion shows and has also acted in the Satish Kaushik’s serial “Mujhe Chaand Chahiye”.
The film was recently launched in Mumbai’s Mehboob studios in the presence of the eminent minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
