Rajesh-Dimple: The twains meet for ‘The Family Album’

Superstar of yore Rajesh Khanna and his separated wife Dimple Kapadia will re-unite after years of estrangement to share the stage for the English remake of the Gujrati play “Adhura Madhura”.
The English adaptation of the play is tentatively titled “The Family Album” and will be directed by Feroz Bhagat. Written by Nikita, the play is comic with moments of melodrama. It revolves around a husband, his wife and their three children. It also brings forth the bittersweet relationship between different family members.
The play, to be premiered in Mumbai, will have about a hundred shows in India. Its crew (including Rajesh and Dimple) will then globe trot, doing nearly 20 shows each in Europe (beginning with London), the US and East Africa before finally returning to India.
Besides the play Rajesh is also making a comeback into films with Tusshar Kapoor-Esha Deol starrer “Kya Dil Ne Kaha”. Dimple, on the other hand, will again sizzle the big screen after a long gap in Farhaan Akhtar’s much-awaited “Dil Chahta Hai”.
