Rajkumar Santoshi's much hyped film Lajja has been given a stay order due to the claims of a Chennai-based postproduction laboratory.
The owner of the post-production laboratory has accused Santoshi of not clearing the dues to the tunes of Rs 5 lakhs for Pukaar and the unreleased Lajja. The claims have been denied by Santoshi.
Based on a true story Lajja starring Rekha, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala, Ajay Devgan and Mahima Chowdhary highlights the oppression of women in the Indian society.
