Bollywood's macho hunk Jackie Shroff has roped in talented director Ketan Mehta for his next home production.
Talks making rounds in Bollywood insinuate that the film, tentatively titled "Kathputli" (The Marrionette), will have Jackie playing the lead male character. The actress who will play the female lead opposite Jackie is yet to be finalized.
Ketan who once directed such emphatic films as "Mirch Masala" and "Maya Memsaab" is currently directing "Ji Mantriji" for the small screen. Jackie and Ketan had earlier teamed for the film "Aar Ya Paar" which ended up as just an average fare at the box-office.
Refusing to divulge any details about the film Jackie only lets out that "it is a women-oriented subject" and will soon be on the floors.
Presently Jackie is working on two other home productions - firstly "Nagrik" which has Jackie pairing with sensuous Sush and tenderfoot Kim Sharma and secondly "Sandhya" (another women-oriented subject) with Akshaye Khanna and Ravs opposite Jackie.
