Sunny Deol starrer Maa Tujhhe Salaam, which has a war theme, has been cleared by the Defence Ministry.
Producer of the film Mahendra Dhariwal had a special screening of the film for Defence Ministry officials on January 8 to secure a no-objection certificate and rule out any controversy after its release.
A special screening for the Prime Minister has also been scheduled for January 15.
The film is set for release on the Republic Day. The producers are planning to distribute flags of the film at all major junctions.
