Sunny Deol’s Maa Tujhhe Salaam has been banned in United Kingdom as the film “offended” the Pakistanis who constitute the major portion of cine goers there.
Apparently, the Pakistanis in London were livid after watching the initial shows of the patriotic action flick, which openly announced the Pakistanis as terrorists. So, after the first few shows, the theatres had to pull out the film, as they received numerous threats from the angry crowds, who warned of violence if the film continued to run.
The Producers of the film in India decided that it was best to call the prints back till things returned to normal.
