And now the Mast Mast girl is in controversy again by winning the Screen’s Best Supporting Award for Aks.
And this time too, when her name was announced for the award, there was a hush in the stadium, which was a lull before the storm of complaints and disbelief. Hardly surprising, considering the fact that the nominees for the award featured Rekha and Madhuri Dixit.
As a svelte bar dancer, Raveena Tandon looked gorgeous in Aks and chipped in for the zing factor in an otherwise chaste story. Her hot love sequences and raunchy dance numbers were something to look forward to and so was her striptease act in which from a suit she strips to a bustier. The film, however, flopped.
Lady luck sure seems to be in favor of Raveena. Or is it something else?
