The grapevine is abuzz with rumors that Sushmita Sen has replaced Madhuri Dixit for the English version of the critically acclaimed film Astitva.
This is something worth appreciating as far as Sushmita is concerned, for she will be stepping in the shoes of the numero uno. Mahesh Manjrekar has looked over Tabu, who played the lead role in the original and even bagged a National Award.
Madhuri backed out of the project at the last minute on the pretext that the role was not exciting enough.
