Even though Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aks failed at the box-office, director Rakesh Mehra has a reason to smile.
The reason is that after about six months of the release of the film, Mehra received a call from a foreign journalist seeking permission to write a book on the film.
Mehra, who was still recovering from the film’s debacle at the B.O., was not sure if anybody would really want to read the book. Apparently, the journo revealed that he just wanted to write why Aks was an unforgettable experience.
Despite failing at the B.O., the performances of the film’s leading stars-Bachchan, Nandita Das, Manoj Bajpai and Raveena Tandon-have been appreciated tremendously.
