After the stupendous success of his debut film Dil Chahta Hai, Farhaan Akhtar is reported to have signed none other than the mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan for his next film.
Farhaan joins the list of young directors who have worked with the Big B like Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar and of course he has all the credentials to make a successful film with Bachchan as they did.
Bachchan is as modest as ever. Apart from being delighted, he says that he is also honored on learning that so many young directors want to work with him.
Farhaan is the son of Javed Akhtar, who has written scripts for many of Bachchan’s blockbusters.
