Watching Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Devdas has turned out to be a ‘brilliant experience’ for Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan.
Big B concedes that, like other people, he too had gone to see the movie with apprehensions and biased assumptions that Bhansali had taken too much liberty with his subject. But as soon as the movie began these apprehensions were ‘washed away’, according to his admission.
Big B said he was simply ‘bowled over’ by the film. He also praised Bhansali’s directorial skills and expressed his wish to work with him in future.
Apart from Big B, Sanjay Bhansali has also won praises for his love epic from the likes of Ramgopal Varma and yesteryear actress Rakhi.
