Bubbly Preity Zinta has silenced the gossipmongers by denying rumors about her secret marriage with Bollywood's perfectionist Aamir Khan.
Preity says the continuous reference in the media reports of her secret marriage with her Dil Chahta Hai co-star Aamir Khan has maligned her in the eyes of her family and friends.
In fact Preity says that she met Aamir at a party hosted by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej the same day when the reports of their marriage starting coming.
Aamir, she says, was very apologetic since he felt that her name had been dragged unnecessarily into all this because of him.
To quote Preity's own words, she has clearly accepted her friendship with Aamir: "He is a great guy and we shared an excellent rapport while working together, but that doesn’t qualify him to get married to me."
At the same time Preity does not deny having found her dream man. However, she refuses to disclose his identity as it is a "personal matter".
