Isha Koppikar, who came to notice with the Khallas song in Ramgopal Varma’s ‘Company’ has successfully moved away from song appearances to full-fledged roles in a number of films.
Isha’s patience in waiting and not accepting anymore song-n-dance numbers in Hindi films seems to be paying back. At long last Bollywood directors are waking up to the potential of the girl who was not very long ago dismissed as a mere hip-shaking bimbo.
Today, Isha has bagged supporting roles in films like Harry Baweja’s Qayamat (with Arbaaz Khan) and Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Pinjar (Manoj Bajpai).
And recently she was signed to essay the female lead roles in Pankaj Parashar’s yet-to-be-titled film and a Balaji Telefilm’s offer opposite Aftab Shivdasani.
