Director Sanjay Bhansali has reportedly approached Shah Rukh Khan to play the hero in his next film too.
Sanjay Bhansali seems to have got over his fascination for actor Salman Khan (star of his directorial debut Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) ever since he befriended SRK during the making of his magnum opus Devdas.
Bhansali’s open admiration of SRK’s ‘intensity’ and ‘dedication’ as an actor was the first indication that the acclaimed director wanted to continue working with the dashing Khan in the future.
And now the buzz is that Bhansali has approached SRK to play the hero in his next film, presumably a thriller.
Meanwhile, Bhansali is reported to be biding his time until a clear picture emerges regarding the nomination of Devdas at the Oscar’s for the Best Foreign Film category.
