Willard Carroll, the Hollywood director who signed Salman Khan for his film 'Marigold', has shown confidence in the Bollywood star, rebuffing the rumors about replacing him from the film.
Carroll says he has no reservations about casting Salman in his film in spite of the much publicized car accident that killed one and injured four.
"Accidents happen but that doesn't mean that Salman is a bad person. I don't think it should interfere with the film at all," Carroll is reported to have said.
'Marigold', a Hollywood film with Bollywood sensibilities, tells the story of an American actress who comes to India and ends up acting in a Bollywood film. Salman plays her dance instructor in the film.
Carroll reportedly saw over a hundred Bollywood films in about six months before finalizing Salman for the role. He describes Salman as the actor with the "right personality that would go pretty much with any American actress."
Meanwhile, Carroll is reported to have signed up Farah Khan to choreograph all the songs in 'Marigold', which will go on the floors in March 2003.
