Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan’s film Zamaanat, which had hit a hurdle, is rolling again.
The film being produced by veteran producer S. Ramanathan has Big B pairing with Vijayashanti for the first time. Bachchan’s bahu-to-be Karisma is also playing an important role in the film.
The film’s shooting had reportedly been delayed a few weeks back on account of the star’s date problems and some financial constraints on the producer’s front. But now Ramanathan has sorted out things and decided to wrap up the film’s shooting fast.
Earlier there was talk of the film’s title being ‘jinxed’ and its producer even thinking of changing the title to ‘Godfather’. But Ramanathan has decided to stick to the present title as the new title “gave the impression of being a gang war, underworld-based film.”
The film’s shooting is once again in progress and there is likelihood that it might hit the theatres early next year.
