Jimmy Shergill is elated at having bagged an important film, which is based on a true life story of Indian Air Force pilots.
The film, tentatively titled Agni Pankh (‘Fire Wings’), will most likely have Jimmy playing a daredevil pilot. Model-turned-actor Rahul Dev and newcomer Akshay Anand play supporting roles in the film.
Agni Pankh will be directed by debutant director Sunjiv Puri who has also written the screenplay for the film.
Jimmy has had a checkered acting career in Bollywood ever since his debut in Gulzar’s Maachis. His last film Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar with Kim Sharma turned out to be a debacle at the box office.
It remains to be seen whether Agni Pankh can take Jimmy’s Bollywood career to new heights.
