Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor’s latest film Talaash, which was slated to hit the theatres in the last week of December, has been put off till next year in the wake of the much-hyped release of Kaante and Saathiya.
Sanjay Gupta’s Kaante seems to be queering the pitch for director Suneel Darshan’s next film which has Khiladi Akshay and lissome Kareena acting together after their first paring the Abbas Mustan’s Ajnabee.
Talaash was earlier slated to hit the theatres around Christmas time but as most of the cine houses are screening Kaante and Saathiya, and because most of the movie buffs are drawn towards these two flicks at the moment, Darshan has decided to postpone the film’s release by at least a few weeks.
As a result Talaash will now hit the theatres in the first or second week of January.
