Urmila Matondakar was hardly ten years old when she made her acting debut playing Shabana Azmi's daughter in Shekhar Kapoor's Masoom. Now, twenty years later she is all set to play a similar role in director Khalid Mohammad's next film.
The film titled Tehzeeb is believed to be an emotional drama roughly based on Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman's acclaimed flick 'Autumn Sonata'.
In the film Urmila will play Shabana's daughter, a role that Liv Ullman played in Ingmar Bergman's film.
Urmila is feeling jittery at the idea of facing the camera together with a "versatile actress as Shabana ji, who", Urmi jokingly says, "will chew me up."
Apart from Masoom Urmila has also acted with Shabana in a movie titled Bhavna. However, she did not play Shabana's daughter in the film.
