Jackie Shroff’s next home production Sandhya is a dark and creepy film that ‘will redefine the horror standards in Bollywood.’
The film, presumably a mystery thriller, has actor Ashutosh Rana playing a psychiatrist who loses his mental balance after he witnesses the murder of his entire family. When he recovers he opens a nursing home and tries to start his life afresh. But demons of the past haunt him and he decided to end his life.
Jackie Shroff plays the hitman who is hired by the doctor to kill him. But lurking underneath the surface is a deep mystery that will give answer to many questions including the man who killed the doctor’s wife and family.
The film, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, also stars Raveena Tandon, Sophiya Haque, Danny Denzongpa.
In the past Jackie has produced films like Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai and Grahan both of which were flops at the box office.
