Mahima Chowdhary may be one of the established actresses in Bollywood but the lady doesn’t mind acting with newcomers in her films.
Mahima has consented to act in director Tanuja Chandra’s next film, which is tentatively titled Vaasta.
The film, to be produced by Vishesh Films in association with the Sahara Group, will have Mahima pairing with Tum Bin star Priyanshu Chatterji.
In the side role would be another newcomer model-turned-actor Aryan Vaid and Vasundhara Das.
The film will have Mahima playing an out-of-work actress whose husband is killed in a scuffle. Priyanshu, it is believed, plays the man convicted of murdering her husband.
The film is expected to go on floors on February 1 with a start-to-finish shooting. Music director duo Jatin-Lalit will compose tunes for the film.
