Two films starring Raveena Tandon – ‘Stumped’ and Satta – might have clashed at the marquee on February 7. But, thanks to Raveena’s sporting spirit, the clash has been averted.
Both ‘Stumped’ and Satta are important films for Raveena. While Madhur Bhandarkar’s semi-realistic Satta has the ravishing actress playing a politician for the first time, ‘Stumped’ is Raveena’s maiden home production.
The two films were slated to hit the theatres on the same day in the first week of February. Seeing this, the wary producers of Satta reportedly approached Raveena to postpone ‘Stumped’ so that the two films do not eat into each other’s market share.
A sporting Raveena readily agreed to the suggestion and put off the release of her Rs. 1.5 crore production venture by two weeks.
‘Stumped’ will now be hitting the theatres on February 21.
