Kareena Kapoor, who seems to have developed a newfound liking for offbeat roles, is reported to have expressed her desire to act in director Deepa Mehta’s next film.
Kareena recently saw Mehta’s latest film ‘Bollywood Hollywood’ and was heard singing praises of the Toronto-based director who has earlier won acclaim for her movies like ‘Fire’ and ‘Earth’.
She reportedly said: “I like her (Mehta’s) cinematic sensibility and would very much like to act in one of her coming movies.”
However, Mehta is already reported to have embarked on her next film, which is likely to have actors from Hollywood and UK chiefly. It seems Kareena would have to wait for a break with Mehta.
