It is not merely a coincidence that actor Sanjay Dutt has been seen playing roles with negative shades in a number of his recently-released films.
Sanjay, who played a trigger-happy bank robber in Sanjay Gupta’s Kaante, says that he is no longer interested in doing the clichéd roles that require him to dance around the trees with heroines.
“I am sick of such roles. I would much rather play a gangster. At least it gives me a chance to perform,” the actor is quoted to have said.
Sanjay is playing similar gangster roles in his coming movies – ‘Plan’ and Munnabhai MBBS.
