Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic tale of unrequited love Devdas won 11 awards at Fimfare awards 2002 ceremony.
Devdas might not have been able to find a nomination at the Oscars this year but the film is winning statuettes at home.
At the 48th Manikchand Filmafare awards on Friday night, the film won 11 awards including the ones for the Best Director (Bhansali), Best Actor (Shahrukh Khan), Best Actress (Aishwarya), and Best Supporting Actress (Madhuri).
The movie also won the statuettes for choreography (Saroj Khan) and female playback singer (Kavita Krishnamurthy).
