Uninterested in Bollywood kitsch, former Miss world Diana Hayden has agreed to do a cameo role in a semi-realistic Hindi film.
Diana, who has learned acting from London School Of Acting, has been refusing acting offers from Bollywood producers for want of more sensible roles. And now a role of her choice seems to have come her way at last.
Diana will play a brief but important cameo in director Khalid Mohammad’s Tehzeeb.
The film has Diana playing a New York-based publishing editor who has to cope with the challenges in Mumbai after she comes to India.
So far, Diana has acted in ‘Othello’, apart from other western films.
