Khiladi Akshay Kumar will play a villainous role in Marathi director Satish Rajawade’s film titled Akhand.
Akhand is believed to be a period drama set during the British Raj. Akshay will play the role of a despotic jailor in the film.
Akshay, who played a negative role in Abbas Mastan’s Ajnabee, said that he plays a realistic character of a haughty jailor “who is not entirely a bad man but has a complex mix of both good and gray shades.”
Akshay’s co-stars in the film are yet to be finalized.
Satish Rajawade, who was recently in the news for his small budget movie Mrugjal (starring Sachin Khedkar), will be wielding the megaphone for Akhand.
