Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit gave birth to a boy on March 18 in a hospital in Florida, USA.
According to Madhuri's secretary Rikku Rakeshnath, both mother and son are hale and hearty. Madhuri's husband Dr Sriram Nene was with her at the time of delivery.
Madhuri was discharged from the hospital and is now back home within a day.
It may be mentioned that Madhuri had earlier refused to go in for an ultrasonography to determine the sex of her child.
The actress, who was last seen in Sanjay Bhansali's Devdas, has been away from the glare of the tinsel town because of her pregnancy.
