Sunny Deol is in a strange dilemma. Two of his movies based on similar subjects are slated to hit the marquee at short intervals.
Sunny, who hasn’t had a hit film since Gadar, is doing his best to promote his forthcoming home production ‘The Hero’ which is directed by Gadar director Anil Sharma.
The movie, a patriotic thriller, is expected to hit the theatres in the coming weeks, but Sunny is facing a dilemma is nowadays.
Apparently, director Guddu Dhanoa (a friend of Sunny) is also planning to release his Jaal: The Trap around the same time.
Coincidentally Jaal is also based on the same subject as ‘The Hero’.
Wary that the movies might eat into each other’s market share if released around the same time, Sunny has reportedly approached Dhanoa to postpone the release of Jaal.
It is still not known whether Dhanoa has agreed to postpone his movie.
