Zayed Khan’s Jeeju Hrithik Roshan had given up the leading role opposite Esha Deol in Chura Liya Hai Tumne so that the young Khan could get a good break in Bollywood. However, the film, released last week, has bombed at the box-office.
Many hopes were pinned on the movie that served as the Bollywood launch pad for Zayed, son of yesteryear actor Sanjay Khan. The film’s promos looked quite appealing and it was expected that Zayed’s finely chiselled looks would pull younger movie buffs to the theatres.
But the movie’s fate at the box-office has shown that good looks are not enough for success in tinsel town.
Chura Liya Hai Tumne opened to packed houses last Friday, but the crowd slowly disappeared after few days. And now the film has been labeled as a flop by trade analysts.
It may be mentioned that Zayed will next be seen acting in uncle Akbar Khan’s epic Taj Mahal.
