Karisma Kapoor’s debut show on the television, ‘Karisma: The Miracles of Destiny’, which had been temporarily shelved for the alleged infringement of copyright, will go on air from July 7.
The show’s telecast has been withheld so long when American author Barbara Taylor Bradford claimed the serial was based on her novel ‘A Woman Of Substance’ and filed a petition alleging infringement of copyright.
However, the Kolkata High Court on Monday allowed the show’s telecast on Sahara TV. The court has also directed Sahara to furnish a bank guarantee of Rs 25 lakh.
Karisma was last seen acting in Bollywood thriller Baaz: A Bird in Danger which turned out to be a dud at the box office.
