After a speedy start under the arc lamps actor Vivek Oberoi seemed to have become the favorite of Bollywood producers. However, the actor is now being replaced from a number of important projects.
Just a few months back Vivek was signed to play the leading role in not one but three movies to be made under the banner of Yash Chopra films. One of these projects was to be directed by Kunal Kohli and was to have his Saathiya co-star Rani Mukherjee opposite him.
But as the things stand today, Vivek has been replaced from all three films. In his place Saif Ali Khan has been signed for one of the projects.
While the reason for Vivek’s ouster is not clear, grapevine has it that the young actor was too committed to his Hollywood project ‘The Invaders’ and Bollywood movie Kyon Ho Gaya Na Pyar to spare time for Yash Chopra’s films.
Hence the Chopras decided to show the door to the actor.
