‘Stalled’ Lara makes impressive strides into Bollywood

Following the good run of her film Andaaz, former Miss Universe Lara Dutta has become the most sought-after newcomer in Bollywood.
Lara, who began her career with a disappointing Pyaasa, is flooded with offers from film producers nowadays. She is already playing a village belle opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost and now it is learnt that she has signed not one but four plum projects in a row.
She has been roped in by Venus’ for their next movie being directed by Dharmesh Darshan, Raj Kumar’s next home production and Vikram Bhatt’s next ‘Jurm’, with Bobby Deol.
It seems that the adage ‘He who goes slow, goes far’ befits Lara.
