Ajay Devgan and Rani Mukherji will be seen playing reel lovers for the first time in director Milan Luthria’s film Chori Chori which is partly inspired from Sandra Bullock's ‘While You Were Sleeping’.
The film, Luthria's second after the 1999 flick Kachche Dhaage, has Ajay playing an architect while Rani plays an orphan brought up by a group of North Indian singers who sing during wedding ceremonies. Circumstances bring both of them together for an unexpected adventure during which the two fall in love.
Chori Chori had been ready for release for a long time, but the movie did not hit the theatres due to some disagreements between its producer and distributors. The film will now hit the theatres on August 1.
