After coming to notice in a Coke advertisement with Aamir Khan, Rimi Sen hopped onto Bollywood bandwagon with Priyadarshan’s Hungama. Today, the Bengali beauty seems poised to make her place under the arc lamps.
Rimi moved from Kolkata to Mumbai to achieve her dream of acting in Bollywood. It was not long before she bagged the Coke commercial and came to the notice of filmmaker Priyadarshan, who signed her for Hungama after mere ten minutes of audition.
Hungama has Rimi playing a small town girl who comes to Mumbai in search of a job. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani and Paresh Rawal.
Even though Hungama is pulling crowd at the theatres, the good news for Rimi is that she has been signed to play Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini's granddaughter Ravi Chopra's family drama Baghbaan.
Add to the list couple of more offers that have started pouring from Bollywood. However, Rimi is playing is safe and taking her pick carefully.
